IDS 2015 – Thank you for visiting us!
The five days of the 36th International Dental Show (IDS) in Cologne
came to a close on Saturday, 14 March 2015, having welcomed a record
number of visitors. Around 138,500 trade visitors from 151 countries
attended the world's leading fair for the dental industry. This
represents an increase of 11 per cent compared with previous trade
shows.
The crowds of visitors were very much in evidence at the 110 m² exhibition stand of picodent, your partner for model production. Milling crowds. Interesting discussions. Excellent atmosphere. You could see immediately that customers felt at home at the picodent stand, a central meeting point for the dental technology scene.
Over five days, experienced master dental technicians presented the 2015 product highlights from picodent® to a fascinated audience at six different workplaces. For example, twinduo soft – a two-component silicone putty with unprecedented precision detail even when working with very smooth surfaces. Dental technicians were extremely interested in picobello plus, a light-curing modelling resin that burns off leaving no residue. Or picopoly, the polyurethane-based dual-component modelling material for high-precision models of individual stumps. There was a huge crowd around the demonstration stand for the pico-light LED, the LED polymerisation lamp for perfect curing within seconds. The ever-popular Majestetik Stumpfix was a hit back at IDS 2013 and remains a particular highlight for producing resin stumps quickly.
